Gisela Alpert is a Vermont artist with roots in Frankfurt, Germany and Montreal, Canada.

Her art reflects her international experience influenced by Vermont's characteristic eccentricity.

Gisela's paintings are mostly conducted on canvas with oil. The rich colors and textures typical of oil encourage a luxurious combination of depth and substance. Although many of Gisela's subjects are flowers, her works extend to portrait and abstract pieces.
