Jennifer Pierstorff

Jennifer Pierstorff focuses on an eclectic variety of subjects - Medical and Pharmaceutical Art, Landscapes and Still Life. The mediums used range from watercolor to oil. Through her art, Jennifer shows the beauty of nature and the body. Her unique ability to see the beauty of medicine is enlightening.

Jennifer has developed her interest in art since childhood. Her concentration in medicine and health issues began after a car accident that changed her health. After years of suffering through multiple medical issues, Jennifer wanted to express herself through her art. Her hope is to help others deal with medical issues by seeing the beauty of their body as art. Art has provided Jennifer the outlet to remain positive even when her medical issues seem insurmountable.

Jennifer is currently enrolled as a Studio Art major at the University of Vermont with a minor in psychology. Jennifer resides in Fairfax, Vermont. She was born in Massachusetts and briefly lived in Hawaii, which provides the inspiration for her tropical landscapes and floral art.

Jennifer's work as a certified pharmacy technician provides her with extensive knowledge of medicine. Jennifer's ability to see medicines as inspiration for art is very unique.

Jennifer has been exhibited since high school. Her first exhibit was at the Center for Artistic Expression in Hudson, MA and most recently at Artists Medium in Williston, VT then at the Community Fitness Center and Associates in Physical and Occupational Therapy in Williston, VT.
