Ann Allen

Painting has been a lifelong desire, but only realized when my children were away at college. My art training has been self-directed in addition to receiving lessons from other local artists. My paintings are often inspired by the love of family and traditions that make Vermont the home I love, focusing on paintings that tell a story or capture a moment in time. A lifelong resident of Vermont, the eighth child in a family of fourteen, proud mother of three, and star struck grandmother. I grew up in Highgate and Georgia, but currently reside in Bakersfield with my husband of 33 years. I am a member of the Milton Artist Guild and the St. Albans Artist Guild. My paintings have been on display at Barnes and Nobles and The Artist in Residence Gallery. Presently my art is on display at The Village Frame Shoppe and Art Gallery in St. Albans, the Williston Welcome Center, The Village Cup in Jericho and Wendell's in St. Albans.
