William (Bill) Boccio

Bill Boccio Photography

Born in Burlington in 1947, William has lived his entire life in the area. He has spent several of those years honing his skills and gathering valuable knowledge in his craft that would later set him apart as a first class photographer. Having always been in awe of nature's beauty he would carry his camera as a hobby, but it would eventually be his passion. Given the recent advances in technology, it was only natural to explore the world of digital photography, which has proven to act as a breath of fresh air and continues to excite him more with every passing day.

His work has been displayed in UVM's Royall Tyler Theater, local banks, and the Red Mill Gallery in Jericho. Two of his portraits called the Brownell Library, Essex Junction, home for several years. To be able to capture the very essence of a flower to such an extent that you could nearly "smell it" is only a sample of what you could expect on a journey through his lifelong works of art. He has also mastered the tools that complement a piece, through printing, matting, and the framing of his work. All of his work is created with integrity and old fashioned hard work, right down to his gold signature at the bottom of each piece.
