I have lived in Vermont for nearly all my life, and in Milton since 2004. I grew up in Grand Isle, spending most of my days outside exploring the islands and gaining a great appreciation for nature, specifically the weather. I could often be found in the ditches beside the dirt roads hunting salamanders and tadpoles on most summer days, or on the front porch photographing the billowing clouds with my 35mm film camera. To this day nothing thrills me like an approaching storm.

I have always enjoyed dabbling in different creative mediums since I was a child including sketching, painting, jewelry making, and sewing. I also love to be outside! The sky is a prominent feature in many of my landscape photographs, but I am not one to forget the tiniest of God's creatures, and one of my other fascinations: insects. I love how vast and complex our world is all at once. In the summer I raise Monarch caterpillars from eggs and hatchlings that I collect.

I currently am involved in beaded embroidery, wire wrapping jewelry, wire sculpture, graphic design, and photography/digital editing. I also make things with felt when I am inspired. Once and awhile I'll notice something new that catches my fancy and I'll start up learning yet another technique. Art is a lifelong passion, and for me it is a go-to therapy for anxiety, uncertainty, and wanderlust.
