Kimberly Mann

Artist & Author

I make sense of the world and communicate through art, utilizing any medium that inspires me. I completed my Masters in Art at the University of Guam while exploring the use of books as a medium, but have also been drawn to gold leaf, mixed media, photography, and most recently, woodworking. In 2015 I was diagnosed with PTSD, which has forever changed my life, and my art. I am committed to creating art that portrays the light and hope of healing and pray that my pieces encourage others along their own path of healing.

I’ve also published the book, Living and Creating with PTSD. This is a first-hand account of living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from the unique perspective of an artist. As you thumb through the pages of my gallery, my artwork tells the story of PTSD: what it is, who it affects, the pain that it brings, and the healing that is possible.
