I grew up on a farm and always have loved gardening! Growing gourds for the Fall was always an surprising and rewarding bounty for decorating, I never knew what I was going to get until harvest. It wasn't until I saw an ad for a Gourd class that I discovered how much I loved creating art with these beautiful gifts from the earth! I grow, dry them over many months,clean them and then create! I use allot of natural materials to embellish my gourds,feathers,stones,pods,fronds,leather,repurpose materials, anything I think might be gourd worthy! Gourds have actyally spanned the globe!
