Nicole Colantoni is a native Vermonter having lived in Essex, attended St. Michael’s College and currently resides in Milton.

Upon graduating college, she taught high school English at So. Burlington High School before becoming a stay-at-home mother. It was then she decided to write a children’s book based upon special times spent with her grandfather, who passed on his love of nature and wildlife.

She enjoys camping, boating, the outdoors, and being adventurous with her husband, Joe, their children, Michael and Natalie and their dog, Shadow.
