I have always enjoyed hobbies that provided a creative outlet and dabbled in painting from time to time but it wasn't part of my everyday life. While spending lots of time at home during the pandemic, I began to explore abstract painting and quickly fell in love with it. I took a few workshops but am largely self-taught and have learned through experimenting. I enjoy trying different styles and techniques but always use an intuitive approach to guide my work. As a life-long Vermonter, I'm drawn to color palettes and shapes inspired by nature and love integrating lots of texture. 

 

I also have a small jewelry business called LakeWoodCreationsCo that I started in 2018 and sell my earrings and necklaces at a handful of local shops.

 

Currently, I reside in Colchester with my husband, dog, and cat.
