Claire Payne is a native Vermont artist currently residing in Georgia VT.  She went to Swain School of Design in New Bedford MA after high school. 

 

Her work is influenced by the culture and history of this region and its simple beauty, which continues to inspire her to this day. Her body of work is a culmination of years of experience spanning many art mediums, but her first love is painting.  Whenever possible, Claire looks for ways to reclaim or reuse materials in her pieces to add character and history to the finished pieces.

 

Claire is a freelance graphic artist, painter, sculptor and is Co-Owner of Claire Payne Studios.
